Officials from the investor companies, main suppliers and financing companies that take an active role in the green energy transformation attended the panel as guest speakers. Uncertainties should be eliminated for the realisation of renewable energy investments, according to the panel, and this process should be carried out by including legal processes through models developed in collaboration with the public and private sectors. The power increases that can be realised in existing wind fields and within existing licences within the scope of repowering in the coming years, it was stated, will make a
significant contribution to Turkey's renewable energy portfolio. In this context, it was agreed that a road map for the actions to be taken in
Turkey's green energy transformation should be developed. It was emphasised the significance of providing the elements (impact reporting)
of green loans that will ensure this transformation within the framework of sustainable financing.

Arif Günyar, graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Essen University and completed his diploma degree in Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences of Düsseldorf.
He worked for a German private company with the core business of environmental recycling of industrial and conventional power plant waste. In parallel, he visited an institute with an emphasis on renewable energy, environment, waste and water management. Since 2007, Arif Günyar is working for the German wind energy turbine manufacturer ENERCON and since 2015 he has been serving as Managing Director of ENERCON Turkey.
Since April 2021, Arif Günyar is continuing his responsibility at ENERCON as Regional Head of the Region Central Asia, Middle East and Africa (CAMEA).

After more than 20 years of experience in various roles and positions in the Turkish energy sector in the public and private sectors, Bora Şekip Güray joined Sabancı University Istanbul International Energy and Climate Center, IICEC as Research Director in 2018 Before that, he served as Sabancı Holding Energy Group President between 2011 and 2018, respectively. Manager, Expert, General Manager Advisor, Branch Manager and Deputy Head of Department at the General Directorate of Energy Affairs of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources between 2001 and 2011, and Project Manager at the Repealed Turkey Electricity Production and Transmission Inc. (TEAŞ) between 1998 and 2001 He worked as an Engineer and Chief Engineer, and as a Research Assistant at Hacettepe University Faculty of Engineering in 1997-1998. In his career, he played an active role
in various projects in the fields of energy policies and strategies, energy planning, energy markets design and operation, energy sector investments, asset management in energy, and also carried out studies within the scope of bilateral and multilateral international relations and cooperation in energy.
In his role as Research Director at IICEC since 2018-2020, Güray has contributed to the development of both IICEC research and awareness and the development of research in the energy sector by producing and presenting many research reports in the field of energy, developing different research projects and strengthening cooperation with stakeholders. Mr Güray is among the authors of the book IICEC Turkey Energy Outlook. Guray graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of Nuclear Energy Engineering in 1997 as the valedictorian of his department and received his MSc degree in 2001 with a master's thesis on nuclear reactor dynamics, simulation and artificial intelligence applications.
Afterwards, he completed his qualification studies in METU Mechanical Engineering Department PhD programme with a focus on energy and conducted some academic studies on energy systems, thermodynamics and sustainability. Bora Şekip Güray, who has international certificates in "Nuclear Power Generation" (Japan International Cooperation Agency, JICA, 2001) and "Modelling of Energy Infrastructures and Security" (International Atomic Energy Agency and US Department of Energy Argonne National Laboratory, 2009), has also contributed to international collaborations, Güray also participated in the International Energy Agency (IEA) Long Term Cooperation Committee as Turkey's representative for a period of time and took part in international teams of experts focused on energy policy reviews of various countries within the scope of energy
policy analysis activities (2009-2010) and served as country coordinator for the Turkey review in 2009 Güray is also an invited speaker in various undergraduate and graduate programmes on energy strategies, energy market functioning, energy technologies and energy efficiency. Güray has been serving as IICEC Director since December 2020
